"Search the menus" icon not darkened

Note that the issue only occurs when the browser window is narrow enough that the search box is collapsed:

Me too, a workaround is enable "with page" mode.

Confirmed. The bug only occurs with the "pageless" page layout mode.

Thank you for opening this issue. This issue has been partially addressed in the latest version, v1.0.0, however I have noticed that the background of the search box, when clicked, may become transparent or white under certain conditions. This issue will be resolved in the next update.
