Waydroid images are currently available on sourceforge.net, and the download speed is very slow (about 50 kbps).

I suggest uploading the images to the any other server so everyone can download the images faster.

GitHub has previously kicked projects off for abusing releases as storage for huge builds. This is not feasible.

Perhaps an alternative solution is setup a local OTA server? Having an easy to use script to do that would be good I guess.

1. Try vpn
2. Download image from sourceforge but select mirror yourself

For me HTTPS_PROXY=https://...... waydroid init ...... works, not gui but cli You can check your proxy manager to see if the request goes to proxy or not
