Define favorite brightness levels and toggle them with keyboard shortcuts.

It would be nice to be able to define my favorite brightness levels and toggle them with keyboard shortcuts.

Indeed, this would be a useful feature, thanks for the feedback!

This would be my use case for this:

  • I have 3 displays with very different max brightness
  • At day time I want to use them like display 1: 70%, display2: 60%, display 3: 100%
  • At night time I want to use them like: 50%, 50%, 70%
  • And in between I'd like a 3rd setting for evening / dusk.
  • I was hoping to be able to quickly toggle between favorite presets 1 (day), 2 (dusk) and 3 (night) in a way similar to resolution favorites (which I don't actually use)

Bonus: if I could enable night shift at the same time in favorite 3, it would be awesome.

Note: it might make sense to have "favorites" shared across all settings so we could have 1 specific keyboard shortcut to do all this combined: set specific resolution + set specific brightness + set dark mode + set night shift all at the same time (dare I ask: set specific level of night shift intensity -- I'd like NS intensity to be extreme at night but only slight at dusk)

Thank you.

This would also allow for outstanding integration with Stream Deck!
