[Bug]: Font rendering appears blurry / low-contrast compared to native terminals (Kitty)

Open jav-ed opened this issue 2 months ago • 2 comments

Current Behavior

Environment: OS: Manjaro Linux Wave version: 0.12.1 Shell: zsh (oh-my-zsh) Font: JetBrains Mono Comparison: Kitty terminal (same font, same shell, same theme)

Description: When using Wave with the same font, colors, and shell configuration as in Kitty, the text inside Wave appears noticeably softer, blurrier, and lower contrast. This becomes especially visible with dimmed ANSI colors (for example, file names or gray text in ls output). In Kitty, those colors remain crisp and easy to read — in Wave, they appear faded and less legible.
