Bookmarks bar doesn't appear

  • Wavebox Version: Version 10.115.27.2 stable, Chromium 115.0.5790.171
  • Operating System & Version: Ventura 13.5

Bug/Feature description

Enabling/disabling the bookmark bar appears to do nothing. No bookmarks appear anywhere on the interface.

Steps to reproduce (if applicable)

Put some bookmarks in the bookmark bar through the bookmark manager (i.e. import), turn on the bookmark bar.

If you're trying to show the bookmarks bar in the main window, you also need to enable this. Do you have both options enabled?

Yes, both options are enabled.

Thanks. It might be useful to generate some diagnostics to see if there's something else in your setup that's preventing the bookmarks from showing up. Can you reach out to support, either by hovering over the cog in the bottom-left of the app and using the contact support button or by emailing [email protected]?

Just an FYI this was a day one fresh install from a brand new user where all that was done was a bookmark import.

Same here. New install on freshly installed Windows 10. Both options enabled yet not able to see the bookmarks bar.

You also need to make sure that there are bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar. If you do have some, can you reach out to [email protected] so we can get some diagnostics and see why it might not be appearing?

I resolved this by deleting the imported bookmarks folder.
