Wavebox 10 - Updates goes to top of screen when being busy it can cause problems

  • Wavebox Version: 10.x
  • Operating System & Version: Windows 10

When a update is happening for wavebox 10 then the update window information takes presence and overwrites all other windows. This means that if you are in a window which is fullscreen wavebox takes presence and jumps out of the window to show that a update is available.

My suggestion is to keep it in the background and not take highest priority on the screen.

A few examples when this can be bad:

  • in a presentation
  • when presenting a screen share
  • when inside a full screened video
  • when inside a full screened game

There are some longer overdue improvements with this. I'll have a word with the team to see if we can jump it up the board a little bit 👍
