Facebook messenger broken by their new design

Just reporting it. Not really a WaveBox fault, but maybe there is something you can do about it. It broke yesterday I think.

The actual issue is the desktop notification doesn't popup anymore. Only a beep.

Does this still occur? Or was it just temporary maybe?

Can you in that case let us know the exact version of wavebox you are using in Settings -> About

@nmat It still happens. FB have also removed desktop notification option in preference

This seems to be broken in chrome just as well as in wavebox in general. It seems they completely removed the option to enable notifications like that.

Its sad really since it worked before. Not sure if its possible to pickup the notifications again.

Clearly this isn't a Wavebox issue, but hoping to find a solution since this is the chat app my family uses for everything. I've checked for userscripts and Chrome plugins to emulate the notification behavior, but it seems this change is so new that it hasn't been handled yet.

I am pretty sure FB did it to promote their windows app.
