The preprocessing of the imported CT data

Do you need to preprocess the imported CT data? Like setting a threshold? I don't see the details of this part in the article. The segmentation results on my data are not very good, I want to know if this is the reason.

No, you do not have to threshold or preprocess the data. If you get bad results you could send me the data and I can maybe find a reason why it did not work well.

OK, I sent one data to your email I find in the another question ([email protected]). Hope you can check it out. Another strange problem is that in ITK-Snap, when I first load the ct image and then add the result as segmentation, the direction will be reversed. It was correct when I chose to add as additional. I'm not sure where is the problem.
