I dont like the message, it is annoying.

I am having the same issue, I am unable to close the welcome banner every time I launch warp. IT does not appear on subsequent tabs. I have tried digging through the settings and turning off the AI functionality, completing the Startup Guide. Does not help.
I have the same issue. Wanted to try Warp out, but losing 25% of the screen to same unwanted message on each new session is a horrible experience.
Same. It's annoying. Would be good if template and settings for this type of this was eg in ~/.warp But Warp if full of things like suggestions to install some cli or things. Feels bloated. I'm switching to other terminal until Warp gets this under control.
Until the point that it is configurable in settings, you can simply clear the terminal
Went away for me after closing out and reopening the application a few times. Seems to happen because it recognizes you are a new user. Prove to it that you are not ;)
These banners are driving me nuts, they're so intrusive and impossible to get rid of. This includes the "DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN CODE IN WARP!?!". Yes. You told me. A thousand times! I'm good! 😄
Hey folks - sorry for the hassle, though I'm trying to understand what folks are referring to here, since I think there's some confusion.
Are people referring to the Warp onboarding experience (see below)? This should only appear once - if it's appearing more often, it's a bug - would love to get more details!
Or are people referring the Try AI Coding banner? If folks are referring to this - please use the "Don't show again" option here to dismiss it permanently.
Or are people referring to this experience on a new tab?

Yep. Installed fresh copy of Warp and had to quit&reopen the app at least a few times for this to disappear, irritating enough for me to actually find this issue.
