Dupe Check

Describe the bug

As said on the tin.

To reproduce

Pre-requisite: Disable "Open completions menu as you type".

  1. Go to Settings > Keyboard shortcuts.
  2. Change binding of "Accept Autosuggestion" to Tab.
  3. Change binding of "Open Completions Menu" to Shift-Tab.
  4. Remove any conflicting bindings of Tab and Shift-Tab.
  5. Test, and observe that Tab works, but Shift-Tab doesn't.

Expected behavior

Shift-Tab should open the completions menu.

Additional context

Feature seems to work with other keyboard shortcuts (like Tab), but I want it to work with Shift-Tab. I can't use Ctrl-Space because I use it to change keyboard layouts system-wide.

Note: If I assign "Accept Autosuggestion" to Shift-Tab, it works. So why not "Open Completions Menu"?

Does this block you from using Warp daily?

No, but it is certainly annoying that I cannot use the keyboard shortcut I desire to invoke the Completions Menu feature.

Is this an issue only in Warp?

Yes, I confirmed that this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.
