CMD-K should clear screen, not start AI

Open n13 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Dupe Check

Describe the bug

In one of the recent releases, CMD-K was suddenly overridden to start an AI feature.

In my console workflow, I rely heavily on CMD-K to clear the screen.

This is not good. Start AI has to go onto another keyboard shortcut.

I fixed it by going to keyboard shortcuts and removing it.

To reproduce

CMD-K

Expected behavior

Clear the console (delete all previous buffer history) as is the tradition

Hi @n13 thanks for letting us know, As far as I'm aware the CMD-K Shortcut clears blocks in addition if you're in a conversation with Agent mode, it also clears the conversation. This should be based on the context (if in agent mode it clears the conversation, if not it clears the blocks).

I'll let the team know about this issue and we'll post updates on the thread.

Hey @n13 are you still experiencing this? cmd-k shouldn't be triggering AI mode, so would like to get to the bottom of this if its still the case.
