Pay for AI requests rather than monthly plans

Dupe Check

Describe the solution you'd like?

I'm really surprised how well the AI integration works in Warp, as I was able to complete a big task rather time consuming otherwise. As a casual user of the command line I'm missing an option to pay for a number / bundle of requests rather than a monthly / yearly plan. As I understand it, those plans are designed for heavy and probably daily usage of your AI tool, which is not my case at all. However I would gladly pay for let's say a bundle of 100/200 requests when needed. Of course I could subscribe and then cancel, but you know... it's easy to forget cancelling afterwards. Would you consider the idea?

Thank you

Hi @xleon Thanks for your feedback and request. We just recently released the Pro plan which may suit your needs for less requests. We'll continue to monitor and evaluate our plans as we get feedback from our community. https://www.warp.dev/pricing https://docs.warp.dev/help/plans-subscriptions-and-pricing

I would like to be able to buy the Pro plan, and then buy more requests if needed (or have a higher limit).

Casual user here. A BYOK option would be great. Perhaps a once off fee and BYOK option for casual users?

I cannot fathom proxying your content through Warp. This is a security nightmare. Full Stop.

why not to Add option to buy 1250 credits for 10$ or any other option with purchasing credits?

Hey Folks, we recently released the Build plan with 1500 AI credits, ability to bring your own API key (BYOK), and purchase Add-on credits (which requires an active subscription to purchase, but can be used for up to a year after purchase, even if you switch back to the Free plan).

For more casual usage of Warp, the free plan includes free AI credits. For the latest credits and plan details, please see our pricing page.

Please see more details of the new plan in our blog and docs for Add-on credits and BYOK.

Closing as resolved since we now have pay as you go and BYOK options.
