Option to exclude directories/files from autocompletion/suggestion

Describe the solution you'd like?

I would like an option to exclude certain files or directories - think common .gitignore items - from the command suggestion/autocomplete. As a concrete example, I almost never want to cd into __pycache__ and thus have no interest in seeing it as an option.

Great suggestion. The easiest place to start would be to use .gitignore like fd or rg do. (They have their own ignore files too, but starting with .gitignore would be a big improvement.)
