Describe the solution you'd like?

Please add something similar to Copy Mode that iTerm2 has where user could copy character by character or line by line from the command output block, copy it and paste where desired.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It's a bit annoying to use workarounds or my trackpad/mouse to copy selected part of the output

Copy mode is one of the few missing features for me. I would love to see some form of copy mode with vim bindings similar to tmux. I make heavy use of copying blocks already but almost as frequently I would prefer to be able to select and copy partial output for various reasons.

i'm surprised how small amount of people do need this feature. also super important for me!

I’m also very curious about this. The lack of a proper Copy Mode in Warp has been quite painful for my workflow, and it has caused me to switch back to iTerm2 multiple times. I hope this feature can be prioritized—it’s essential for efficient terminal use.
