Thanks for this feature request! Currently, the input editor auto-resizes based on the input and is limited to about half the vertical space of the terminal window. But I could see the possibility of resizing it to fill the whole terminal window or less based on the need.

Please :+1: and subscribe to this request as it helps us gauge interest. We will post any updates here.

I was actually referring to increasing the minimum height of the editor by about ~1-2rem. Having it so small makes it feel a bit cramped. Just increasing minimum height by a small amount will make a big difference.

The editing function of warp is very easy to use, but the editing area is only a small point, and I have not found a way to adjust it. This prevents me from further experiencing it because my habit of using the terminal is to look up instead of down. Every time I have to go to the bottom and then find a small area. I hope there is a setting that can adjust its size, thank you.

seconded, extra blank spaces in the input bar declutters the interface and is useful for avoiding distractions while working on/thinking about complex tasks. A user configurable min-height can't be that extreme of a feature to implement?

Agreed! The input area is so tiny that it feels like it is not a terminal anymore.
