Same problem here. But I already had this problem with 0.9.7. (And the same with muCommander) I suppose the problem is connected either to some Java update or to MacOS...
Yes, "any linux" is quite exact ;-) And I guess, any MacOS X as well. (Where else do people connect with SFTP...?)
Maybe, it looks like a problem caused by some unsupported/outdated (because insecure?) protocol version?
As mentioned before, for me it didn't work with 0.9.7 either... Problems started already while using the original muCommander. I rather associate it with some system/Java update, rather than mu/trollCommander...

I see I also overlooked a few more geometry settings in `zynthian_gui_control_xy.py`(never actually seen that screen). Also, many sizes are still computed from the full screen dimensions, not the reduced...
No feedback yet, so I tried to make the integration a bit cleaner myself by moving it into `zynthian_gui_config` and creating new attributes `screen_width` and `screen_height`, independent of the original...
I do not share Michal's opinion concerning point 2 either. But that is a general question of exposing the users to raw data, where I do not think it is...
