SLow processing CPu unresponsive

When the rule runs for first time after starting thunderbird the whole cpu seems to slow down and not responsive. Is there some way to reduce cpu hogging?

Issue still exists in Version 0.6, latest Thunderbird, OS Win7 x64. Any fixes?
