Latest theory is that this is caused by calling external command `/usr/bin/sips`, or `/usr/sbin/screencapture`. (Leftovers from the cronjob beginnings.)

I think it's because only with iOS 10 that an app will crash without it. Other projects have been updating, e.g. see: https://github.com/Affectiva/ios-sdk-samples/pull/3
