Config value to always show uncovered?

Issue description or question

I really like the show uncovered code toggle in Atom but I'd like it to automatically show this all the time for me. Can this be configured currently? Could a preference be added to do so if it isn't available now?

This is not something that can be configured at the moment.

The last time we tried to experiment with adding such feature under a setting, it caused performance issues in Atom for larger files and, what is more important, the uncovered highlighting seemed very distracting in larger "gray" (uncovered) areas that are sometimes not covered at all (so are highlighted), but need to be edited.
