Highlighting text

Hey. It seems like there is no highlighting option in the app other than annotating and making some notes. It's the only thing that kept me away from using wallabag instead of instapaper. Is there any plans to support it in the near future?

It is possible to create an annotation without entering any text. An option to directly create an empty annotation can be added, but it doesn't seem to be in high demand.

is it even possible in the web application to only create a highlight without a note?

Sure, it just displays "No comment". I myself use it quite often for simply highlighting.

Good to know, i didn't even know that's possible. I thought the note form field has to be filled out and couldn't be submitted empty.
