Rebased and cleaned up some unrelated changes. judging by the TODOs and commented code i got stuck on figuring out symbol tables and probably also some issue with resolving addresses correctly.

Feed free to continue or reuse whatever parts of this PR that makes sense and i'm happy to help out with whatever i can.
