Logs into Steam and immediately logs out

Describe the bug I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if it is a bug, but I run the patcher and login. It logs me in then logs me out immediately.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run the patcher
2. Select game location
3. Select game version
4. Select Best of Both World's
5. Then I login.

Expected behavior I expect to stay logged in so that I can download an older game version

• Game Version you started from 1.6.353
• Game Version you downgraded to 1.5.97.0
• Mod Manager MO2

We just had this problem and the cause was bad entry on the 2 factor auth pop-up (which asks to "enter your steamguard email" and caused some confusion). Did you get a 2FA prompt? Make sure you enter the CODE from the email ;).
