Application Checklist

  • [x] The application template has been copied and aptly renamed (project_name.md).
  • [x] I have read the application guidelines.
  • [x] Payment details have been provided (Polkadot AssetHub (DOT, USDC & USDT) address in the application and bank details via email, if applicable).
  • [x] I understand that an agreed upon percentage of each milestone will be paid in vested DOT, to the Polkadot address listed in the application.
  • [x] I am aware that, in order to receive a grant, I (and the entity I represent) have to successfully complete a KYC/KYB check.
  • [x] The software delivered for this grant will be released under an open-source license specified in the application.
  • [x] The initial PR contains only one commit (squash and force-push if needed).
  • [x] The grant will only be announced once the first milestone has been accepted (see the announcement guidelines).

Interesting observation @semuelle , For example a project manager needs to oversee the entire lifecycle of DeFi projects, ensuring that smart contracts are functioning correctly, monitoring key addresses for activity, analyzing blockchain data to inform strategic decisions, and receiving timely notifications about significant events. Having all these capabilities in one platform would enable the project manager to efficiently coordinate the team, optimize development and operational strategies, and respond swiftly to any issues or opportunities that arise. Take a look at https://www.tenderly.co/ which is tailored to Ethereum.

The data Indexing framework will be delivered as an API accompanied by detailed documentation on setup. Endpoints will be available for modular indexing optimized for Polkadot’s multi-chain architecture, real-time data updates, data export to Excel sheets, and customizable indexing strategies. It will also provide integration capabilities with visualization tools like Plotly. While it's true that there are well-established data analysis platforms for Polkadot, our offering stands out by integrating multiple essential features into a single platform. Prophe is designed to go beyond mere analysis by providing a comprehensive toolkit for developers. For example, as a developer building an early-stage swapping protocol with a small user base, I find it challenging to find a seamless toolkit that allows me to run a distributed simulation of, say, 100 transactions in 10 seconds to identify bottlenecks in my smart contract. Prophe addresses this need by combining advanced data analysis with simulation, real-time alerting, and AI-driven insights. In the long run, leveraging AI and Prophe's robust toolkit will provide unparalleled support for developers, making it a unique and essential platform in the ecosystem.

Thanks for the update, @seunsanyaa https://github.com/seunsanyaa. There are some interesting ideas in your application, but there are still some things I would like clarification on:

  1. Individually, contract monitoring, address monitoring, analytics and event notifications are useful concepts, but I've not come across a platform that offers these in this combination. Can you give an example of someone who might be interested in all of these?
  2. Some of the deliverables are still a bit vague, e.g. "Data Indexing Framework". Please specify what exactly you deliver for each deliverable and in what form (document, code, etc.).
  3. There are well established data analysis platforms for Polkadot already out there. How are you planning to compete with them, when analysis is only a part of what you want to offer?

Hey @seunsanyaa , could you please help me understand which type of smart contracts you are planning to cover? There are currently those which are literally EVM SC that live on chains like Moonbeam. Then we have the ink! contracts that are powered by a pallet within the substrate chain and in the future there will be PolkaVM that will allow for execution of solidity projects that were compiled to RISC-V.

Hello @PieWol, we tend to start with EVM smart contracts on side-chains in order to get off the ground, based on our research, there are efficient resources to make this happen swiftly. However, we are building the infrastructure to also accommodate ink! contracts in our next iterations.

With you trying to build this product for EVM smart contracts first, what would be the actual benefit of it over using tenderly? Don't they work for all EVM networks out there?
