Discuss re-introducing Named Graph resources

Pros:

  • JSON-LD and TRIG support named graphs.
  • There are some use cases, and a history in the Open Annotation model of allowing them

Cons:

  • Complexity required for a small number of use cases
  • Requires re-engineering everything in TRIG instead of Turtle
  • Needs implementations

Bearing in mind that any normative use of multiple named graphs in a given Web Resource will either produce lossy reserializations or not possible to express e.g., in RDFa.
