I was reading https://annevankesteren.nl/2016/03/upstreaming-custom-elements-shadow-dom today and apparently https://w3c.github.io/webcomponents/spec/custom/ and https://w3c.github.io/webcomponents/spec/shadow/ used to be working links. Redirecting to https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/custom-elements.html and https://dom.spec.whatwg.org/#shadow-trees respectively would seem appropriate.
