"Metadata" is geeky
Hi all,
Thank you for working to improve W3C specs. I have a small comment: "Specification Metadata" is geeky. What about something like "About this Specification" or even "Details" ?
Ian
Or "Editing Details"? I don't think the ordinary reader (i.e. a random developer) will think about clicking on the "Metadata" label to find this kind of important information.
I used to have "Specification Details" and a few folks proposed "Metadata". I liked "Specification Details". :)
The details of the specification are in the prose, tho! ;) Maybe “Specification Data”?
"Useful links"?
Not all of them are links? :) Although most of them are.
I like what @ianbjacobs proposed: “About this specification” (or better “About this document”).
if we don't end up hiding the information (see #145), this would make this issue less problematic.
