Conflicting normative statements about conformant representation of DID document and the accept input
"This result MUST be represented in a conformant representation that corresponds to the accept input DID resolution option." conflicts with the definition of that accept option, which only says it "SHOULD use this value to determine the representation".
We should delete this part of the sentence: "that corresponds to the accept input DID resolution option"
This was discussed during the #did meeting on 11 November 2025.

w3c/did-resolution#237
wip: This is similar to the "accept" discussion, but it is slightly different
this looks like a duplicate
pchampin: they do look the same, maybe we can combine
wip: this is saying it's a must.
joe: are you saying we're inconsistent?
wip: yep,
… the placement with MUST (DID REsolution algorithm 3.1) is a conflict with a SHOULD elsewhere (DID Resolution options)
wip: I agree with Manu, let's just remove this extra bit.
manu: maybe we can just stay silent since it's covered elsewhere
wip: ok
JoeAndrieu: +1 to deleting
wip: Anyone want to take it on?
[crickets]
wip: Ok. moving on.
