Can we avoid term definition duplication across DID specs?
It would be ideal if this didn't duplicate definitions from other specs like https://www.w3.org/TR/did-1.1/#terminology. But I think there are technical reasons you have trouble deduplicating, perhaps that webref can't distinguish DID-ish terms from web platform terms well enough.
We should do the following:
- Use xref and refer to did-core: https://respec.org/docs/#xref
- Delete all duplicated terms in the Terminology section of DID Resolution
This was discussed during the #did meeting on 11 November 2025.
