连接号的不同形式

连接号有三种形式。这三种形式的用法和语义是否一样？还是有所区别？

如果有区别，我们是否需要在文档里提到这三种形式的区别？

三种形式用法有别；其中，短横线与另外两个符号的用法和语义差别较大。目前的叙述基本已整体涵盖了三个符号的大多数用法，只是没有为单个符号的用法做对应区分。

试改拟如下：

连接号在台湾教育部的《重订标点符号手册》（修订版，2008年12月）中，记有两种形式，甲式为[—]、乙式为[～]。连接号主要用于连接时空及数值范围的起止，甲乙二式基本可以互相替代。

连接号在中国大陆的《标点符号用法》（GB/T 15834—2011）中，记有三种形式，短横线[–]、一字线[—]、浪纹线[～]。短横线主要用于构成复合词，以及串接编号或数码。一字线和浪纹线主要用于连接时空及数值范围的起止，通常优先使用一字线；在标示数值范围时，二者可以互相替代。

《重订标点符号手册》（修订版）规定连接号「占一个字的位置，居正中」；据此，甲式的推荐字符可为U+2014 EM DASH [—]、乙式可为U+301C WAVE DASH [〜]或U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～]。《标点符号用法》（GB/T 15834—2011）规定，短横线「比汉字『一』略短，占半个字位置」，一字线「比汉字『一』略长」，一字线和浪纹线均「占一个字位置」；据此，短横线的推荐字符可为U+2013 EN DASH [–]（实际运用中，不排除会被U+002D HYPHEN-MINUS [-]或U+FF0D FULLWIDTH HYPHEN-MINUS [－]替代），一字线的推荐字符可为U+2014 EM DASH [—]，浪纹线可为U+301C WAVE DASH [〜]或U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～]。在竖排时，乙式连接号或浪纹线因字体不同，有可能显示为「S型」或「反S型」两种字形。

In the Punctuation Guidance (revised edition, Dec 2008) issued by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, there are 2 forms of connector symbols: Form A, which is the U+2013 EN DASH [–] and Form B, which is the U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～] or U+007E TILDE [~]. Connector marks are used to link the start and end of space-time and numerical ranges, and both forms can be used interchangeably.

In the General Rules for Punctuation (GB/T 15834—2011), there are three types of connector marks, namely, the short connector mark [–], the long connector mark [—], and wave dash [~]. The short connector mark is mainly used in the composition of compound phrases as well as to concatenate serial numbers or numerical digits. The long connector and the wave dash are mainly used to link the start and end of space-time and numerical ranges. It is more common to use the long connector for this purpose. In the case of numerical ranges, both connector marks can be used interchangeably.

The Punctuation Guidance (revised edition) states that connector marks should "take up one character width, with middle alignment"; as such, the recommended symbol for the Form A connector mark is U+2014 EM DASH [—] while the recommended symbol for the Form B connector mark is U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～].

The General Rules for Punctuation (GB/T 15834—2011) states that the short connector mark is "shorter than the Han character for the number one (一), and should take up half a character width", the long connector mark is "longer than the Han character for the number one (一), and should take up one character width". The long connector mark and the wave dash should "take up one character width". As such the recommended symbol for the short connector mark is U+2013 EN DASH [–] (in practice, U+002D HYPHEN-MINUS [-] or U+FF0D FULLWIDTH HYPHEN-MINUS [－] can also be used). The recommended symbol for the long connector mark is U+2014 EM DASH [—], and the recommended symbol for the wave dash is U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～].

In vertical writing mode, the Form B connector mark might be displayed as the S character or the reversed S character, depending on the typeface in use.
