[decentralized] Emerging Enterprise Protocols and unintended consequences

I would like to participate in these discussions. As a starting point I cite a very significant article published back in June 2020 on unintended consequences and Encrypted DNS deployment. Kelly Jackson Higgs over at Dark Reading published this piece on what internet pioneer Paul Vixie had been saying about the changes which were happening

The situation is now becoming more complicated with Russia announcing a forthcoming ban the use of secure protocols such as TLS 1.3, DoH, DoT, ESNI

Amendment to IT law would make it illegal to use encryption protocols that fully hide the traffic's destination.
