Kicking off SVG-AAM work

I'd like to start making some progress on the SVG-AAM, and could use some guidance on how to get started. Creating this issue to add to ARIA Editors agenda

I think I filed most of the open issues... Some with PRs. At the time though, the ARIA WG did not own SVG-AAM, so the PRs and issues languished and I stopped writing them because the project owners were unresponsive. I think Val merged most of the PRs when SVG-AAM moved into the ARIA repo though... Happy to help again now that the path is no longer blocked.

PS. Should this issue be here in /w3c/aria or should it be moved to /w3c/svg-aam?
