Tells me I don't have root but I do

I have rooted my phone like maby 8 months ago and it has worked for all the apps that need root but when I open netsoofer it tells me I don't have root and I'm rooted with magisk manager and not with super user

Same. Using Magisk v18 on my galaxy s8 running Oreo. I can grant root to other apps just fine no problem. Just not this one, it doesn't prompt for root and even when setting root option to Grant by default, it still thinks there's no root. I'm not using root hide or anything either.
