compile too slow

Hello, I am using typesan to compile firefox, I use command ./autosetup.sh to compile it. Everything is fine except that the compiled process is too slow, i nearly compile the firefox for almost two days and yet not accomplished it. I noticed that it often compile one file for a few hours. Is it normal? ( I am compiling the typesanbl, and my computer is xeon cpu E3 3.1Ghz x 4, ubuntu 16.04 lts with 24G memories)
