UX / SignUp modal :: Selecting text beyond container closes the modal

Environment

browser: Chromium (Brave), Chrome

Expected result

Modal should be closed only on specific event: clicking outside of modal container

Actual result

Modal closes on both click and mousedown events (when click is pressed inside modal but released outside)

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to home page
2. Click on Account icon in the header
3. Insert some text into modal input
4. Select inserted text by clicking and hold inside the input and move the mouse outside of modal container (release mouse when outside of modal)
