Wrong character selected in the Combat Tracker using individual initiative, roll each round

Open PXR5 opened this issue 11 months ago • 1 comments

What happened?

I saw this mentioned in the Discord but I don't see an incident so I am reporting it. Tested with all modules disabled.

Use Individual Initiative, roll each round.

Run a combat. A character other than the highest initiative is selected as in the the screenshot. Felicity is selected but Gerald should be selected.

As a secondary point, actors with the status effect of dead applied are still rolled in initiative resulting in a negative value. The tracker behaves correctly and skips to the next round when it reaches these actors but it looks rather untidy. (I can raise this in a separate incident if preferred).

What is the expected behaviour?

As a new round begins, the actor with the highest individual initiative should be selected, then the tracker should proceed through the rest in initiative order.

Secondary point - Perhaps actors with status effect dead should not roll initiative?

Update - Tested with modules disabled

My example has a module active (the blue highlight around the Felicity Short token) so I have just repeated my test with all modules disabled and I observe the same behaviour regarding, "Wrong character selected in the Combat Tracker using individual initiative, roll each round"

I am however unable to reproduce the "Rolling -790" result with or without modules so I withdraw that part of the report, it was secondary to the main problem and didn't disturb anything in play.
