Parent tags display the same note multiple times

I have a tag heirachy that is #Dope/Scratch #Dope/D001

When I just click on the tag #Dope it displays 1 note as many times as it has child tags. So a tag that has both those sub-tags, displays 2 times in the sidebar that is filtering them.

Im unsure if this is intended or if its a bug. I would prefer for it to only show the tag once, maybe its a setting im missing.

Either way, LOVE this plugin, makes obsidian usable to me! Thanks!

Sorry for being delayed! I think that you probably wanted to view it like this:

As shown in the screenshot, this should be possible. Maybe one of the settings is conflicted with the other. My setting like the below makes the previous screenshot. May I ask about your configuration?
