20.2 : can't access settings on iOS 17 Obsidian 1.4.8

I updated to the new versioning system (v3) I am using the couchdb docker image. Synchronisation works fine between my macOS and android devices.

Howeever, in iOS, the plug-in seems to fail to load properly. The cog icon does not appear and I cannot enter the settings. I have tried to uninstall and re install the plug-in multiple times.

Thank you for reporting this issue! And sorry for the delay! This problem occurred when the plug-in encountered an error before registering the setting dialogue. Since v0.20.4, it has been fixed (At least, the setting dialogue could be opened). Would you mind if I ask you to check the behaviour, please?

Thank you for the fix.

The settings can be opened again but now, the Setup wizard has some issues:

  • the buttons Next, Copy setup URI and Open setup URI are not responsive.

Therefore I cannot easily setup the iPhone as a subsequent device. Android does not have this issue.

Thank you for checking this out! I am relieved to hear that things have improved a bit. I hope to solve the problems that have been cleared out. May I ask for a bit more detail?

  • About Not responsive Do they just Ignore your taps? or cause a freeze?
  • Is the command Copy the Setup URI from the Command palette available?

I don't have the iPhone anymore so I won't be able to troubleshoot further. Apologies.

At the time I wrote my previous message, the setup wizard buttons were ignoring my taps. No freeze. Copy the Setup URI did not work. (ignoring my taps)

I have this same issue on my iOS device. I am on the latest version of the plugin, I can access the settings app but I can't use Open setup URI, trying to tap on it does nothing. I also don't see anything in some pages of the settings, like Customization sync and Hatch.
