my installation hasn't worked in a long time

I get the standard "In order to use ClientSim... apply the settings..." dialog. I close that. I have a ClientSim Settings tab and I press the "Apply VRRChat Input Axes" button which is the only one that appears. I try again and get the same "In order to use" dialog. There is no Version number showing next to the Version: label by the way.

Is there a fix? This used to be so handy.
