`npm link` works on linux. Probably will work on OSX. @bsansouci Can you check once?
I don't know how to approach this even. On my machine, I saw it to be around 350ms.

@maun Hey, looks like you are using an very outdated version of npm. Can you update to npm@3 and try again?
@jaredly It works for fine for me. Can you try it on different project and see if that makes any difference?
