Crashes when loading server resource pack [Group Animated Sprites]

  • Minecraft Version: 1.17.1
  • Canvas Version: 1.0.2201
  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Graphics Card: GTX 1050 Ti

How you triggered the behavior

  • Join a server with server resource pack. For example Wynncraft

What you expected would happen

  • You should join the server like normal

What actually happened

  • Game crashed

So far have been unable to reproduce this. A couple questions:

  1. Does it happen reliably or only sometimes?

  2. If you turn off "Group Animated Sprites" in Canvas config, does that help?

It happened all time when I join Wynncraft, others server like OriginRealms doesn't seem to happen. Also turn off Group Animated Sprites fixes this issue.
