In a similar spirit to #460, this equation is also defined (although not originally so) in arXiv:2401.17980.

Unlike #460, however, I'm less sure of how to properly implement this feature as the definition of this quantity is still a bit opaque to me. Happy to leave this issue open as a request to others who are more perceptive than myself though!

I'm not entirely sure how or where the Wigner function comes into play here. TBH, I'm not quite sure what the best approach would be, but it would likely involve first having a basic understanding of this paper.
