Update to 0.57.3
Hi,
Is there any chance of updating to RN version 0.57.3?
Or documenting how to update versions ourselves?
Love this btw, just what I needed!
Hey @alexdunham, its in my pipeline, i will release a step by step guide to do it for upcoming versions, too. Stay tuned. :) In theory this could even be automated but I did not have the time to configure it, yet.
best regards
Hi @voydz I was creating the bindings myself when I saw your project, I'm almost done with the migration of the version 6.1.5, maybe you could take a look and I can do a PR to your project
Hi @egarim thank your very much for this effort.
Would be awesome to review and test your changes. A PR is very welcome.
best regards
@voydz is there a way I can contact you, I sent you an email to this email [email protected] last week.
You can find my contact info in my Github profile, maybe we can meet because I have a few doubts regarding the bindings and maybe you have already been through the same problems
@egarim I'm interesting about migration to 0.61.5. and I completely done in iOS side but not android yet
@egarim if there is an update to the latest version would be happy to test and/or contribute. We are very new to xamarin, but not new to RN and any way to help?

would appreciate any steps and can take it up...
@voydz by any chance you could give me some pointers?
Hi @elarasu ,
unfortunately there are some issue due to some major changes to react-native since the current xamarin-react-native version, so I was not able to easily upgrade in an easy effort.
We have transitioned to react-native a long time ago. As this project is thought to help to transition away from Xamarin towards react-native I merely see this project as a proof-of-concept and the fulfillment of a challenge I put myself onto. I would not advise anyone to use this in combination with Xamarin in production.
I am afraid there isn't really anything more I can do for you. But please feel free to fork and experiment with the code in any way (as this project is MIT licensed).
