allowunconfigured is badly named and undocumented

in #246, we merged an option (allowunconfigured) to change the hard-coded state of allow_unconfigured

This option is not mentioned in the README and should be renamed to allow_unconfigured.

Additionally we should consider the same as in #238. If this issue is fixed before the next release, we don't have to make backwards-compatibility considerations.
