To what extent do you want it removed? Totally, relocated and less scary, or something else?

I'm not a fan of long term unstable code in a project. If nobody uses them and they're broken, we might as well remove the code. I'd be happy to postpone this for a later release, but I did want to discuss it before we did a major release.
