I've currently tested a Debian 12.5 installation using the Netinst ISO. Did a normal setup, installed OMV as mentioned in the [docs](https://docs.openmediavault.org/en/latest/installation/on_debian.html) and was able to access the UI finally....

All your problems sounds like a malfunctioning USB hub which forwards the same UUID for every connected device (see at the bottom of https://docs.openmediavault.org/en/stable/troubleshooting.html). In this case OMV does not...
