Can't find `vorple.file`, what am I doing wrong?

Using the latest vorple kit for Inform 6 (4.0.1), I'm trying to access the virtual filesystem, but the vorple object has no file component. Is something missing from the I6 distribution of Vorple, or is there something I should do to initialize it?

Note: despite I'm using the 4.0.1 kit from https://vorple-if.com/download.html, vorple.version still claims it's in version 3.1.0.
