xbps-rindex -r Assertion `obj' failed when $arch-repodata is empty

When $arch-repodata exists, but it doesn't contain any entries, xbps-rindex -r fails with an assertion error:

%: xbps-rindex -a <something>.xbps
%: rm <something>.xbps
%: xbps-rindex -c .
%: xbps-rindex -r .
xbps-rindex: portableproplib/prop_object.c:1091: prop_object_release: Assertion `obj' failed.

Should xbps-rindex -c remove the $arch-repodata file when it's empty?
