Edit 6/19/25: decided to go with a static patch instead of vsed as this seems to be the preferred way.

Adoption

The package seems to have been orphaned. I use a MacbookPro and can take care of the updates.

Local build testing

  • I built this PR locally for my native architecture: x86_64-glibc
  • I also built it for x86_64-musl and i686
