Feature request: sort video list by upload date
I regularly visit media.ccc.de over the first days after Congress to check whether new videos get released that I can then watch. I don't seem to be able to sort the list of videos by release date/upload date though, and all the other options don't really help me in quickly checking the list of new videos.
What about https://media.ccc.de/recent ?
That would work well if Congress were the only event for which videos are currently added, otherwise my view is cluttered with videos that are irrelevant to me. Another issue: once I have navigated into the event from the main page, the "recent" option is no longer presented to me, so it might get overlooked.
This is a feature I would like to have as well for a long time :) #720 seems to be a duplicate here.
Would you accept merge requests for this feature?
PR #801 added search sort by recording date, not by upload aka release date – this issue is about adding sorting by release_date to a conference page like https://media.ccc.de/c/38c3?sort=release_date (which should also trigger display of release_date instead of recording_date
(It looks like the link above already works, but is not linked in the frontend)
