Title says it all. I would love to see this being added!

As of today the cursor gets hidden together with the video controls, once I'm in fullscreen mode. Is it the same for your PC?

Hmm it doesn't work for me. The controls get hidden in fullscreen, but the mouse cursor stays visible. I'm using Firefox 57.0.4 on MacOS 10.11.6.

I noticed something today that might be related. When switching to fullscreen using the F key (but not by clicking on a control) the mouse cursor is hidden. Once the mouse is moved though the cursor stays visible forever. This happens with Firefox 64.0.2 on macOS 10.13.6. Using Safari 12.0.1 on the same system the mouse cursor disappears together with the controls as expected.

edit: Actually I noticed that the cursor gets hidden everytime the F key is pressed. When you're in fullscreen mode with a visible mouse cursor and you press F to exit the fullscreen the mouse cursor gets hidden also until you move it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Foaly could you follow these steps https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Apple and report back if it solves all you problems ?

Just as an FYI this issue still persists with Firefox 84.0.1 on MacOS 10.14.6. Also the discribed behaviour with pressing F hiding the cursor once until it is moved is still there :)
